Coimbra will once again host the official start ceremony of the Vodafone Rally de Portugal, which will take to the road between 15 and 18 May. The ceremony will take place on 15 May on Avenida de ConÃmbriga, next to the University Stadium, just like last year.
Guns N’ Roses will perform in Coimbra in 2025! The legendary band promises an epic show, where timeless classics such as Sweet Child o’ Mine and November Rain will echo through the city, thrilling thousands of fans. Coimbra is preparing to host one of the biggest musical events of the year, with an extraordinary production that promises to exceed all expectations.
The first edition of this festival celebrates the 100th anniversary of Topázio & Onyx, historic Coimbra beers recovered by Praxis, and aims to help restore the city as Portugal’s beer capital.
With leading national and international breweries from the craft beer movement, top restaurants, boxes and biergarten areas, this is set to be a unique beer festival on the national scene.
This is an anchor event for the city of Coimbra, combining the promotion of books and reading with a distinctive, territory-transforming programme aimed at all audiences. With programmes taking place in various areas of downtown Coimbra, Praça do Comércio will be the privileged space for exhibitors, representatives of publishers, bookshops, booksellers and publishing projects.
The 16th edition of the QuebraJazz Arts Festival will take place from 15 to 24 July in the gardens of Quinta das Lágrimas. Under the theme ‘Encounters’, the programme includes jazz and classical music concerts, with the programme extending until the end of August with free concerts on the Quebra Costas steps every weekend. Early bird tickets at special prices are available from today until 31 May.
